Our thoughts create how we feel so when we allow negative thinking to creep in and tell us stories and lies about ourselves and others, we can easily spiral down a depressing hole. The TRUTH is that we are all the main characters in our own life “movie” and we are all guilty of assigning ourselves way too many responsibilities each day. Most of us can barely keep our heads above water in our own situations, so trying to stay present in our family and friends lives can get put on the back burner. It’s not that people don’t care about you, it's that they haven’t yet found balance in their lives.
It is not in your best interest to depend on others to make you feel happy and enough. Take your power back by taking charge of how you feel. This starts with self dialogue. Be aware of what kind of thoughts and messages you are giving yourself. Having a positive morning routine with some self-love is essential in creating an uplifting and enjoyable day.
